Ecclesiastes 12:14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Micah 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
Luke 12:48 . . . For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
Are you Going Backwards or Forwards?
The Greatest Servant
Do you really have convictions?
Do you live and die for your convictions?
It is a blessing to know that we can have the best dwelling place and it is free to all. Are you dwelling there, my friend? If not, you can, if you know Jesus as your Savior.
When you fight against the will of God, you only go backwards
The greatest of all (Jesus) as servant to all (Jn. 13) What an example!
“Convictions are worthless without change"
Often said – a conviction is something you would die for – Better said – A conviction is something you should live for.
Do you enjoy reading signs on different churches as you drive by? You may find some good quotes out there, even some that may work on you and show you changes that need to be made in your life. But all the good things we do still never count for eternity for we are told that in God's sight our righteousness is as filthy rags.
Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
So what must we do then to be saved?
Acts 16:31 ... Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, ...
You can be 100% sure of heaven!
If truth is not undergirded by love,
it makes the possessor of that truth obnoxious and the truth repulsive.
Psalms 121:1-8 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
2 Corinthians 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
