My February was a little different than expected, but God is good and blesses me so much! I have spent much of the month caring for grand children and for a sick daughter. It seems as though the Lord is opening doors for her to find some answers to her health needs. We are praying to that end.

Isn't it nice to know that somebody loves you? With Valentine's Day coming tomorrow, we think lots about being loved by someone and maybe hoping for that special love gift from that special someone in our lives. But what a joy to know that there is always someone who loves each and every one of us every day and always! That special someone is Jesus Christ who by His rich mercy shed his blood on the cross for us. He loves all of us and wants to redeem the one who is ready to receive His love.
Ephesians 2:4-5 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
Do you often wonder what are some good ways to pray for my children or grandchildren? While a young mother, my pastor, Pastor Norman Pyle, now Emeritus Pastor at Bible Baptist Church in Hampton, GA, would often preach sermons on the family. For this I was very grateful! One of his sermons was "How to pray for your children". This was such a big blessing to me. I have saved the main points to his sermon and referred to them over the years while praying for my children and grand children. I also took the main points and made them into a bookmark so that I could have these handy throughout the day. This encouraged me to pray more for my children and now for my grandchildren. I have included a printable form so that you too can download, print and keep one close at hand. Do you have any other special ways that your pray for your children? I would love for your to share them with me.
